“From Heart to Heart to Fight Coldness”
Coldness disaster affected area, Ta-Kor, Mae Saruay District and Mae-Yao, Mueng District, Chiang Rai
Donated blankets to the cold victims, in cooperation with Thai PBS TV
Ajinomoto Foundation together with the TV Station Thai PBS, donated 2,600 blankets, totaling 650,000 baht to the cold victims in Ta-Kor, Mae Saruay District and Mae-Yao, Mueng District, Chiang Rai as well as to disadvantaged schools and hill tribe children’s centers in Chiang Rai province. Mr. Somchai Suwanbun, Director of Thai PBS, Mr. Phichien Koosmith, VP of Foundation, and Mr. Suchat Naksawek, Board Member of Foundation, together joined the event on December 12. The donation carrier transportations was officially released to go to affected areas on 19 December 2013, and the ceremony was on 21 December 2013, led by M.R. Tetsuya Nakano and Mr. Suchat Naksawek, Board Member. The children and villagers got a lot of warmth from this donation event.
